We left Wellington at 1pm and drove for mnay hours stopping briefly in ??? and Wanganui and finally in Stratford for a very pooor representation of a chinese takeaway before heading to our resting place at Onaero bay.
An early start was required the next morning to ensure we arrived in Waitomo in time for 6 of us to go black water rafting, or more accurately tubing.
