Well, I hope you all had a good Christmas (my thoughts and prayers are with those, that I know of, that may not be having such a good time). I hope, equally, that you all can celebrate a good New Year, or Hogmanay, or first foot, or celebrate it in style in Abel Tasman (I’m not jealous, really I’m not), or wherever you may be.
It does feel more than a little bizarre to be back in my own home. Dad and I reconnected the car battery and it started, first time. There’s a few things to come down from the roof, all the financial side of things appear to be in order, cat is well (if a little plump), and the garden is, well, dead thanks to some severe frosts.
In true Inverness style, it’s raining. I think getting out and about this afternoon may be in order, but that does usually involve spending money.
